Bappenas & Home Affairs Ministry Hold National Coordination Meeting to Synergize Efforts to Achieve Golden Indonesia 2045

SURABAYA - The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, together with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the East Java Provincial Government, held the 2024 National Development Planning Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakortekrenbangnas) on Monday (26/1).
The event was attended by relevant provincial development planning agencies (Bappeda/OPDs) as well as relevant ministries/institutions involved in the discussion of regional development project proposals. Acting Deputy for Regional Affairs of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Tri Dewi Virgiyanti, explained that the purpose of this event is to prepare the 2025 Government Work Plan (RKP) and the 2025 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD).
"The year 2025 is an important moment, as three development planning documents, the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) and Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJPD), the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), as well as the RKP and RKPD, will all commence in 2025, and all these planning documents must be synchronized from the central to the regional level in 2024 to ensure the achievement of the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045," expressed Deputy Virgi.
In line with Deputy Virgi's presentation, the Director General of Regional Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Restuardy Daud, also emphasized the importance of next year as the initial year of the 2025-2029 RPJMD and the first year of the implementation of the 2025-2045 RPJPN. "The year 2025 is the first year of implementing all planning documents, it is also the first year of a new government, and it lays the foundation for achieving the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision, in accordance with the RPJPN," said Director General Ardy.
Representing the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Suhajar Diantoro, conveyed six directives covering aspects of integrated and efficient planning, results-oriented development, fiscal independence through increased local revenue, investment-friendly local governments, education and health for welfare, and public services to realize justice.
The Rakortekrenbangnas was divided into 38 groups, consisting of 33 subject groups, 3 regional groups, and 2 macro indicator groups. Technical consultations and thematic deep dives will be conducted at each desk to ensure the coherent unity of central and regional development planning.
Under the theme "Accelerating Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth," related to the formulation of RKP and RKPD, this technical meeting is expected to further sharpen and support the achievement of the 8 development missions outlined in the 17 development directions and 45 key development indicators to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision.
